こうやって聴いてみると2009年発売「A Real Diamond in the Rough」ってやはり良いですね。この選曲の中だと「Allowed to Play」が一番好きです。この曲は本当に何というか、反則と思います。「Dawn Appears」もすごく良い。出てくる映像もいちいち良い。

この動画を作った人は「Shadows Between the Sky」が発売された頃までの音源からチョイスしているんだと思いますが、その後のニューエイジ系といったら「Captain Eo’s Voyage」「Electric Sea」とか、あと「Look Up There」も入るのかな？ その他pikesシリーズにもそれっぽい曲があるし、4作目を作ったらどんな感じにするんでしょうね。もし自分が作るとしたら間違いなく「La Gavotte」と投入することだけは判るのですがね。

ところで今まで発売されたこっち系のアルバムの中で一番人気ってどれなのでしょう。楽曲単位なら皆嬉々として票をばらかしそうですが、アルバム単位になるとおだんご状態になりそうな予感。というかアルバム単位になると、本当にどれに票を入れようか今想像しただけでもかなり迷ってしまいました。自分なんかは「「A Real～」かなと最近までは思ってた方なんですが、今年「Electric sea」が出ましたからね。アルバムとしてどうかって考えたら、「Electric sea」の方が良いような気がしています。

ではこの2枚、曲単位ではどうかというと、雰囲気全然違いますから完全に聴く人の好みや気分になってくるのかなと思います。そうだ、最近「A Real～」聴いてなかったら今夜はそれを流して寝る準備します。おやすみなさい…zzz
